Solid Waste Technician Recertification
Dates for next years course will be posted on the main page
The Missouri chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Solid Waste Management Program are offering the Solid Waste Technician Recertification Class. This 10 credit hour class is usually held in April, starting with a full day on Tuesday and a half day on Wednesday and is held in the Roaring River Conference Room of the department’s Elm Street facility, 1730 E. Elm St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.
The class is offered as an educational outreach by Missouri SWANA and fully meets MDNR’s continuing education requirement for recertification.
Note: The Department of Natural Resources requires that a Technician must accrue at least 10 hours of classes or training prior to the expiration of the three-year certificate to become recertified. The types of training or subjects of the classes must be approved by the department's Solid Waste Management Program to apply them towards your recertification.
